Vegetable fruit sauce or Chuno sauce from Bull Dog is similar to tonkatsu sauce.Only it is less sweet and less thick in structure.It is made from water, sugar, high fructose corn syrup, vinegar (from alcohol), salt, tomato paste, onions, lemon juice, rice starch, maize starch, yeast, soy, plum paste, carrots and apple puree.
Vegetable fruit sauce is a ready-to-use sauce that can be added to any Japanese dish: as a marinade, with stir-fry noodles (yakisoba) or as a dressing for salads.
